Arachnophobia

"She heard a sort of scuffling noise in one of the darkest corners of her room. It was the corner underneath the attic hatchway-she hated that corner and kept as far away as possible. She was scared past her wits end as she contemplated seeing what it was. She sat up against her headboard, basically pushing herself against the hard, oak wood. She grabbed the flashlight off of her nightstand and flicked on the switch with both hands. As her eyes adjusted to the sudden light, what she saw frightened her beyond belief. She was scared stiff and couldn't even scream. It was a spider...a large one at that. It too was adjusting to the sudden light that was being shone in it and made a horribly atrocious noise as it reached out with one of its long, spindly legs...". This is one of my worst dreams. I hate spiders- *shivers*- i don't think i can keep this painting in my room either, it creeps me out. Acrylic on canvas.
